Our History

Before founding Accurate Measurement Controls in 1992, co-owner Mike Arceneaux gained more than 15 years of invaluable experience in the oil & gas industry. Throughout this time, Mike witnessed the many negative effects of poor quality measurement instrumentation.

Mike started this business, along with his wife Judy, because he wanted to build better, more reliable and safer measurement and control equipment.

Mike’s dedication to manufacturing the highest quality products at a fair price brought great success to the business. In 2004, Accurate Measurement Controls moved to its current location on seven acres in Broussard. The facility initially included two buildings and has now grown to encompass five buildings and 20,000 square-feet of enclosed facilities.

Accurate is a family-owned business, and owners Mike and Judy are proud that their son Lex (Plant Manager) and daughter Amber (Marketing Manager) are part of the team. In addition, the company has many employees who have been with the business for decades and are an integral part of our success.

Over the years, Accurate has maintained its success by adjusting to the ever-changing needs of the oil & gas industry while still maintaining an unwavering commitment to producing top quality products. We look forward to continuing the growth of our business while also maintaining the highest standards in the industry for the many customers we serve.
